Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ToroTrace, including our website, wallet analytics tools, reports, subscriptions, APIs, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Overview

ToroTrace provides analytical interpretations of public blockchain data. Features may include wallet scans, transaction summaries, risk scoring, behavioral indicators, wallet fingerprinting, graph views, cluster intelligence, saved scans, reports, and API access.

2. Informational Use Only

The service is provided for informational and analytical purposes only. It does not provide financial, investment, trading, legal, compliance, tax, accounting, or law enforcement advice.

3. No Ownership Identification

Wallet classifications, cluster labels, risk scores, and behavioral signals are estimates based on available public blockchain data and internal heuristics. We do not guarantee the identity, ownership, intent, purpose, or legal status of any wallet, transaction, or entity.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful purposes.
  • Misrepresent analytics as confirmed proof of criminal activity or wallet ownership.
  • Harass, defame, threaten, dox, or target individuals based on wallet analysis.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, subscriptions, or security systems.
  • Scrape, copy, resell, or redistribute data from the service without permission.
  • Interfere with the operation, availability, or security of the service.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

API keys, authentication credentials, and account access tokens are considered confidential. Users are responsible for all activity performed using their credentials and must immediately report suspected unauthorized access.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid features may require a subscription. Billing may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Subscription prices, limits, and included features may change over time. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

7. Refunds

Fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law or specifically approved by us. We may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

8. API and Enterprise Use

API access, enterprise features, bulk scanning, automation, and commercial integrations may be subject to additional terms, usage limits, rate limits, monitoring, and written approval.

9. Accuracy and Availability

Blockchain analytics can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or misleading. Public blockchain data may be affected by network conditions, API limitations, indexing delays, missing data, false positives, false negatives, and heuristic errors.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, current, or complete.

10. No Professional Advice

You should not rely on the service as the sole basis for financial decisions, compliance decisions, legal action, enforcement action, investigations, asset freezes, reporting, or accusations against any person or organization.

11. Intellectual Property

The service, including software, design, branding, analytics methods, reports, interfaces, text, graphics, and related content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

12. User Content and Saved Scans

If you save scans, notes, labels, reports, or other content, you grant us permission to store and process that content as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of saved data is lawful.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the service, misused analytics, failed to pay fees, or used the platform in a harmful or unlawful way.

14. Third-Party Services

The service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, payments, authentication, analytics, blockchain data, infrastructure, and security. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, policies, or actions.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, and non-infringement.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost revenue, business interruption, reputational harm, or decisions made based on use of the service.

This limitation applies to losses related to blockchain activity, trading activity, wallet attribution, risk scoring, analytics interpretation, investigations, compliance actions, subscription interruptions, API outages, security incidents, or third-party infrastructure failures.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of wallet analytics.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
