ToroTrace respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our website, wallet analytics tools, subscription features, API services, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Account information such as email address, login details, authentication information, subscription status, and account preferences.
  • Wallet scan data such as public blockchain wallet addresses, transaction summaries, risk scores, cluster signals, behavioral analytics, and saved scan history.
  • Usage data such as pages viewed, features used, timestamps, browser type, device information, IP address, general location data, subscription activity, redemption activity, API activity, platform usage analytics, and operational metrics.
  • Payment and billing information processed through Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our own servers.
  • Support messages, feedback, bug reports, abuse reports, and other communications you send to us.

2. Wallet Address Data

Wallet addresses and blockchain transactions are generally publicly available on blockchain networks. However, if you save scans, associate scans with an account, or combine wallet activity with account information, that information may become linked to your use of our service.

We do not claim to identify the real-world owner of any wallet unless that information is independently and lawfully available from public or verified sources.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide wallet scanning, analytics, behavioral analysis, risk scoring, graph analysis, and cluster intelligence features.
  • Save scan history, account settings, user preferences, and subscription-linked functionality.
  • Process subscriptions, payments, invoices, and billing through Stripe.
  • Improve performance, reliability, security, fraud prevention, and platform stability.
  • Prevent abuse, scraping, unauthorized access, spam, malicious API activity, and misuse of the platform.
  • Respond to support requests, bug reports, and security concerns.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, security, and compliance obligations.
  • Manage promotional codes, referral systems, subscription access grants, redemption tracking, and account entitlements.

4. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe may collect and process payment information, billing details, device information, IP address, and transaction information according to its own privacy practices. Stripe states that it processes personal data for payment processing, fraud prevention, compliance, and service delivery purposes.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies for login sessions, authentication, security, preferences, analytics, API access management, and subscription functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

6. Account Security and API Access

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and API keys. API keys may provide access to analytics, scan history, subscription-linked functionality, or future enterprise features. Users should immediately report suspected unauthorized access or compromised credentials.

7. Legal Basis and Consent

If you are located in Canada, our privacy practices are designed with reference to Canadian private-sector privacy principles, including accountability, consent, limiting collection, limiting use, safeguards, openness, access, and correction.

8. Sharing Information

We may share information with:

  • Payment processors such as Stripe.
  • Hosting, infrastructure, authentication, analytics, security, cloud, and database providers.
  • Security, fraud prevention, abuse monitoring, and infrastructure protection providers.
  • Professional advisors, accountants, auditors, insurers, or legal counsel.
  • Authorities if required by law, regulation, legal process, or valid government request.

We do not sell your personal information.

9. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the service, maintaining account records, enforcing agreements, resolving disputes, complying with legal obligations, maintaining security, preventing abuse, and supporting operational integrity.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards to help protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, disclosure, or alteration. However, no internet-based platform, cloud environment, or blockchain-related service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining secure passwords, devices, authentication methods, and network environments.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain personal information. You may also request information about how your data is used or shared.

Requests related to access, correction, deletion, or export of account-related data may require identity verification before processing.

12. Blockchain Data Limitation

Public blockchain data may remain permanently available on public blockchain networks and outside our control. We cannot delete public ledger records, transactions, wallet activity, or blockchain data from public distributed ledgers.

13. Children

Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. International Processing

Your information may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where our infrastructure, payment providers, analytics providers, cloud systems, or service providers operate. By using ToroTrace, you acknowledge that information may be transferred across international borders where privacy protections may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
